Doubt

It was a regular morning. I (Copper), Silver, and Tin were at the usual place, along with Argent. We were seated in our usual spot with the round, red table with the matching red chairs. Tin and Silver ordered their usual cup of joe, and they sipped the time along with their drink, the usual conversation happened, until...




"so like I was saying, there's been this rumor floating about..." said Tin

"I haven't really been gathering much lately, so spill"

"hey..." Tin called Silver's attention.

So...? Say it already

"there's been this rumor going about... One of the 'Crown' s' friends... FINALLY GAVE IN!"

I don't get it... What?

Silver stood up. "Copper...don't you get it?"

I shook my head. I was kinda slow on the intake. It didn't make sense, especially the "crown" part.

Silver was almost about to burst from either horror or laughter. "But what about the rumor about him and Dia...?"

That was it. I knew it. It's one of Gold's. That person was one of THE last person on the 'not gonna be that' list, but hey, things happen, right? I mean, that person -was- in a relationship before, and it wasn't too late in the past that they broke-up because of a little misunderstanding.

"where'd you get all this, Tin?"

Tin put on that serious, Unfazed look on his face. "It's kinda funny, actually..."

That's the thing with rumors. Half of em' is true, and most of em' are lies. And the mere fact that rumors are hard to trace makes it all unbelievable to hear something real.

"let me guess..." Silver played a smile. "It was one of Gold's too, eh?"

There was only one person who could've done that. The most likely person that would've gone and heard it, and that person would be someone whom that person trusts and shares secrets to. And that person was...

"It was Alexandrite, huh?"

The three of us already knew that, though. Another problem about rumors is that the source is usually closer to the truth, and that the source themselves are hard to trace. In this case, however...

"tsk, typical, eh?" said Tin. "y'see, I got the juice from Ruby and the others. Apparently, that person told Alexa, and pretty much the rest, I don't have to say."

"So that's why there was a post by that person about revealing something soon." said Silver.

"the one that's gonna be revealed a few days from now?" I grinned.

*bam*

A palm hits the table, and shook the three of us for a second.

"what the hell, guys. Thanks A LOT for leaving me out of the conversation" Grinned Argent.
