A cold and depressing manor stands under the same moonlit sky. Once before, this manor was the epitome of beauty and grace around the land where it stood. Now housing insects that feed on the remains of the run-down and half-burnt building, the house of Recluse is now only a carcass of its former.
Above it, The light of which September's keeper, Earnest Concierto, had used to transport himself, slowly descended inside, and not as heavy as to make its worn-down planks creak. He had gazed upon what was left lying on the ground, and those covered in dust and webs. He turned around, and paused for a sigh.
What a miserable end... Recluse... murmured Earnest, as he made his way to the miraculously intact stairs. He slowly made his way up and walked almost nonchalantly, as if nothing was wrong in the mansion's floor. The dark, and bug-infested halls of the mansion's upper floor did not stop him from reaching his goal: to reach the master's bedroom.
September, who had kept silent for a while in Earnest's pocket, gently glowed as Earnest reached the doors of the Recluse's master's bedroom. The room itself seemed as if it did not age by time. The roof was intact, and the floors were solid, and yet the furniture seemed old enough even for Earnest's taste. In front of him lied a Black teddy bear with a red ribbon on it's neck. Its eyes shone like it was living, but its fur was ruffled badly enough for a child not to want it.
So you hid here, Recluse? Said September. The inanimate bear stood there without a response. September then ordered Earnest picked the bear up by its neck. Earnest then murmured in its ear: "Con anima".
In a flash, the bear's fur returned to its pristine form, and a yellow stone with an engraved "10" in its center replaced its left eye. Its seemingly harmless and finger-less arms grasped Earnest's arm and said You're not a Recluse...who are you? Are you after the "October" ?
