1. Decision

The moon shines brilliantly as the stars in the same sky. From a mansion's veranda to the ground above it blows a gentle breeze that drives the scent of a beautiful garden. The scent of freshly brewed coffee fills the air as a maid brings her master's cup. With much delight, she strolled down the silent, empty halls of the mansion. Upon finally reaching the veranda, she had placed the cup on a table beside a small boy.

"I tire and dread of this boredom." said the boy, while sipping the warm coffee. "Would you like anything else, monsieur? Scones and whatnot?" the maid said with a pleasing smile, seemingly amused as to what her master has said.

The boy, only measuring up to half of the maid's size, stood up. He slowly reached his pocket, and from it, pulled out a silver pocket watch. He had pressed the button located atop the circular watch, revealing the clock. The clock's hands have stopped at 3:33. behind the clock's lid is a small stone that resembled that of a cat's eye. To himself, he muttered "Had that man only reached the boy...". He took out the stone from the watch and placed it in his hand and called it "September"

The stone in his hand glowed and spoke "It would be best not to interfere, Earnest." The boy reached for his cup and sipped his drink. He sat once again and crossed his legs. He gazed up the seemingly endless night sky. As his eyes crossed the bodies, he suddenly scowled, muttering to himself yet again "The stars say that I must move, and yet I'm bound only to watch them..."

Earnest stood up, took a deep breath and clenched his fist with September in his hand. From his feet and from the stone in his hand came an unusual light, seemingly absorbing him slowly as he closed his eyes. As he slowly vanished, He opened his clenched fist and said "September, I'm counting on you"

From the silent and empty halls of the well-decorated mansion, the maid once again went up to the veranda. Noticing that her master had already left, she placed the used cup in a silver platter and placed it on the same table. She took a breather on one edge of the veranda with the same smile on her face when she had served the coffee and said: "Master Earnest...I won't let harm befall you."

From her maid's barrette, a strange, candle-like light bathed her whole body. The maid left with a bow facing her master's chair. Before her body was completely engulfed with the light, she said: "Let us go, November, We must make haste"
