Wiping the dust off ---a look into responsibility?

As I once again roamed the seemingly-endless world of the www, I noticed that my classmate's hdd had gathered dust over it, and I've neglected it for a while (like a week or so). So when I wiped the dust off, I remembered my old stuff that hasn't been used for a while, and remembered the times when I actually did use them. Most of them now gather dust, they still work (well, not all of them, and they broke because of me).

The thought of actually cleaning them again only came to my mind when I saw this line that Jiro from Hajimete no Aku said: "What are you talking about? It makes sense that if you use something and have fun, you have to take care if it, right?"

Chapter 24 from Hajimete no aku

In that chapter, the first and second years used the school's pool for their P.E. lessons, but had a free period instead, to their surprise, that their teacher declared it. It was also, however, the day that the pool has to be cleaned! Between the two classes, no one wants to clean. It was decided that there should be a race and the winner gets to, according to shininome (one of the characters) said: go home scott free, and the losers to taste humiliation as they clean the pool (and thus the picture above is the result).

*Ehem* Going back, it'd be better if we ourselves embrace the logic that Jiro has, right? Taking care of stuff that we enjoy makes them not only last longer, but it also reflects our level of responsibility in taking care of the things that we use.

Although, I'd have to admit, I'm too lazy to clean stuff too >_>

So, with this, are you guys enjoying your summer break?

summer fun~!
