5.3 Adjudicator

"Shall we start?" Said August, who now control Richard's body.

"Amazing... Hey, March, can you do that too?" Arche said with pure curiosity.

March immediately recognized the ability. Surprised, March warned August: "Synchronization of souls comes with a price, did he say he wanted to do that?"

August smiled, and released his wings once again. This time, every feather was like freshly spilled blood. It was beautiful and frightening, and shone every time the sun hit its gracefully arranged down.

He gave a sigh, and clenched his fist. "everything is with consent from that idiot, and it always is!" August said angrily.

Arche immediately flew to August with ferocity. It was both anxiety and excitement that drove him to deliver a flurry of blows. Both limiters dodged each other's attacks and counterattacks. It was obvious that their physical prowess match each other's, and it seemed that both have reached a stalemate. August was dodging with minimal energy, using his prowess over his medium: blood. It was vital to dodge any of March's poisonous array of feathers and venomous fluids that covers Arche's body, which makes any successful blow a lethal mistake. August shaped blood like an artisan, transforming the viscous red fluid into different forms of spears, whips, tendrils, and sharp needles. It was more of a gruesome scene whenever August missed his mark, since he releases control over the fluid when he throws them as projectiles.

"left, right, left, down, down, middle, right, left, left, middle" said August, whilst dodging the blows.

"You made that boy's physical strength and senses thrice as strong, eh? " said March.

"That's wasn't my doing, idiot. I chose Richard for a reason, not like that psycho kid you have there, moron"

Arche glared at August "I'm just doing what must be done. It's fine if you think I'm crazy. I don't care what happens to me as long as I fulfill my mission." he heavily flapped his wings, releasing a powdery gust of wind.

"Human greed would turn these limiters into weapons. The human rationale is ridiculous, isn't it?They are granted power, and greed takes over them."

"No" said March. "It is far worse. Remember the what they did to January and February? They extracted their energy, and nearly killed them both!"

"If you think that every human is as dumb as that, then you're just as stupid as they are" said August. "If you'd take time to actually know these jellybags, they're not that bad as hosts"

"You're pathetic, August. You daresay that we'd best spare these creatures while the 0-frag runs wild?

"That's a totally different matter, March. The innocent mustn't be involved in our mission"

"And what of those humans that treats us as criminals? Obviously, they want us to be part of another...monstrosity"

"You're a warden yourself! How can you not understand the crime you'll commit?!"

"You understand nothing. It's because you and your pathetic host haven't been exactly fighting with the 0-frag. I even think that you're preventing the others from purging that threat!"

"Now you accuse me of such nonsense? You must be a bigger idiot than your host is"

"Enough banter, they're coming here"

"Last chance, Arche and March. Give up, or suck it up"

From afar, the ear-piercing velocities of several military jets tear the cloudy skies. The waters below, too, are torn with the sound of warships and cruisers. As they approach, the two tries to settle their duel. Unfortunately, time had already run out. Both of them had already realized long before that An attack from either forces would obviously settle the fight between August and Arche, and even making an escape route harder to take. It made both of them choose only one of two options: to run away, or face the army.

With a suspicious grin, it was obvious that Arche had a scheme in mind. "You're not gonna let me kill those poor, poor, innocent military men, right?" he said.

"Bastard...you're going to...!!" said August.
