Monday: The Harbinger of the Culling

Yeah, I've been gone for a long while now (and I haven't even started on the next part of "game over") and it's all because of our AB communication majors. But one major subject really stands out... and its name is "introduction to communication research".  For an extended time now, we've been trying to cram all that information to our heads, but it ain't no surprise that most of us didn't like the fact that we have to memorize all of the details from our hand-outs. Sad to say, a handful focused more on the arts rather than the science in our batch.

And while the test of death removal exam's day gets closer, and with the final requirements for it (our research proposal) due at the same day, it's a huge challenge for those who haven't the time to do both at the same time (although thanks to Mr. Bear we did quite well).

Our professor has good reasons and intentions to give the removal exam. Where I see it, his reason for doing so is to really make the students realize that there are some things that we students should know how to do and explain (and we really do in the first place).

So whether we cram at the last moment do our part in the removal exam (to actually study and memorize) or to laze around during the weekend, it's totally up to us. The removal exams may sound scary, but it's actually a good thing. One is that it is a filter for those that would take "communication research",  and it serves as a ruler that might make us realize that we should put more effort in studying.

Since I'll be gone until Monday, this onlooker has another question to ponder about:
"Are my efforts worthy enough to make me pass the exam?"
(oh, and look at the pic below too, since we're talking about growing up. I took it from the manga nineteen, twenty-one)
