Yesssss
I've been able to make one story for this cobweb-infested diary, and I even added one photo that I drew for it :D
My newest one's title is "Promise" that centers around Elle and a few others that are called "aberrations" that are related to different realities. I've always wanted to make a "what if" and things related to "time". I've also listed down some ideas that'd at least carry me over to another chapter.
So again, some of the situations are based on what happened around me this year, and I'm open to any suggestions in the future :D
Oh, and I'll post it maybe next week, when I think I'll be halfway through the second chapter

Yes
Since my blogspot app on my old iTouch stopped working, I've been unable to post anything here. And my last post was what, December last year? Geez, this place got deserted for almost a year.
Anyways, I've been busy finding what I really wanna do. I'm still looking for -that- as well. I've decided that it'd be best to leave my past behind me, and I'd be more of a "Yes Man". If you've watched that movie with the same title, then you know what I mean. Although I'm gonna say yes most of the time, I don't think I'd like to learn any new languages or any new instruments, or get a wife online ;)
I think I'll keep it up until December, after my best friend's birthday, at least. Hopefully, I'd be able to write a fictional story here as well sometime November. I'll be basing it on the people I met and places I've been to this year, probably. But I really want to make something fictional again as well.
Maybe I'll get some material from the games I've played as well. Just saying :D

Down to the ground
The year's ending, and I bet everyone must be looking or remembering some highlights during the year. And since it's more of a habit of mine to try and remember the things I've done so far, I remembered my pre- highschool years.
When I was in kindergarten, we always had this arts and crafts thing at school. The teacher would write down the materials that we'd need two days before the actual day we'd make it. Of course, the end result is usually crappy stuff, but since we were kids, we'd be proud of our work...most of the time.

Crushes!
Crushes. You've certainly have or had one. And there's always that friend that asks you: dude, who's your crush? It used to be a hard question to answer back in my earlier years in high school. If you liked someone during that time, you'd do anything to get noticed: Sing on stage during contests, Bring out your special chocolate out on valentines, or always pair with them on group activities. If you had a cellphone and so did she, you'd get their number too.
Of course those methods still work, but now it's more shy guy/gal-friendly.

Intentions
(As a fair warning, I'm asking a lot of questions here without definite answers. Also, I don't like to see innocent people suffering as much as the other guy, so I'm going to ask you, dear reader, if you could, please pinch-in some help to the survivors. )

Select the "Change Job" Option
[Like my other posts, this is a diary. I do not mean to argue, nor offend, just saying. Also, I DO NOT OWN ANY OF THE PHOTOS. I can claim that I did play these games and watched the show though. Credit for the photos goes to whoever owns them originally. ]
Ah, how the games these days (and before) show switching jobs so easy. Be it the early days of Square Enix's (or Squaresoft's) Final Fantasy series, or the slightly more complicated Tactics Ogre series by Quest, changing jobs by simply going to the game menu.Whether you've mastered something or not, It'll show your performance without any paperwork necessary. Heck, there's not one interview process here, just cute little characters and their nice pixels, wether grayed-out or not shown, every job can be unlocked and mastered simply by getting experience from it. Unlocking more is usually better. How easy would getting jobs if it was as simple as this?
Ain't that just dandy. Well reality isn't very nice. Switching jobs is just as hard as looking for one. Why am I saying this, you ask? Well, let's just say I'm not enjoying what I'm doing. And when you don't like what you're doing, what I suggest you do is this:
Aim for something you want to do.
You ain't gonna do well on something you don't like. But you won't know until you've actually tried to go there. To be honest, I already knew my previous line of work was stressful and...challenging, but it was a half-good, half-bad experience for me. What I expected was a whole lot more, but I guess I didn't persevere there. I heard a whole lot of complaints, but for the most part, I did enjoy the ride to get there. I'd even say that it was one heck of a ride, but like I said, I want more than what I felt there. Basically, I don't want get stuck on something that you do just for money. Love your work, Love your pay, and Love your time.
Moving on, "where do we find jobs...?" That's prettysimple damn complicated. You got three choices (as far as I know. Do tell me if there are other ways.). For starters, you can walk-in and apply. Simple. Then the interview starts (if you get in). Second one is through job ads on the net. Now I'm not gonna name any here, since I'm not paid for advertising I don't want to give any names, so you gotta put your back into it and search, search, search!
The last one is kinda tricky, since the last one actually looks at your stats while at work. Here in our country (Philippines), we call that "getting pirated". This means another company gives you the offer, with better pay and/or benefits. You must be preeeeeety good to get this one.
"Jobs, Jobs, Jobs. Why the heck are you babbling about? shouldn't you have a goal?" Basically, what I did wrong was this: I didn't exactly plan on my future. What I want to do and what I need to do are quite...different. Whether it was during my high school days or college days, I didn't actually "aim" for something. But what I want you, dear reader, to know (or apply) that one of my real goals is this:
With this in mind, dear reader, what are your plans for YOUR future? Or if you're already enjoying what you do, mind sharing some thought about work?

Flick that scroll and choose the one you like...It looks so damn easy here |

Conceit
Yesterday, I went to one of my friend's house for the celebration of his birthday (which is today) along with some of my friends. Call me conceited, but at the start of the day, I really wanted to hang-out with them as much as we could. I wanted to talk to them as much as I could. I haven't seen them in quite a long time (except for Pii) and I wanted to hear how they've been.
That's what I wanted to, at least. I couldn't help myself but hate the fact that someone or something goes anti-social at a time like this one. I hate the fact that I'm anti-social and I hate other people going anti-social. Whenever I see that, I start hating myself. Could be because of my elementary years, I don't know.
I got so disappointed when one of my friends played LoL (an online game) at the onset of the celebration. Who does that, really?
And I sure messed up when someone tried to pull up a laptop. Told him to not use it and talk to people instead. There goes my bad habit. I ended up making him angry at me.
I think I got my point through, but I know that what I did was wrong too. Hopefully next time it won't turn out like that anymore.
